Dingley Fly Reel 2 3/4" - Telephone Latch - Westley Richards

For sale here is a scarce Dingley fly reel with telephone latch, made for Westley Richards - 2 3/4" diameter. The frame has an area that's been dinged up a bit but this area is solid with no surrounding cracks whatsoever. Foot is full length at 2.3" and unfiled but has a slight kink in one end, but this doesn't prevent it from fitting nicely on a rod. Ivorine handle spins freely. Stamped D4 with four dots on cog. Fixed check is adequately strong. Reel weighs 4 3/8 oz. Another very scarce Dingley, especially considering size and retailer, from the late 1920's/early 30's.
