A very nice Dingley St. George-style reel, 3 " diameter and set up for RHW. Red agate lineguard. No external Dingley stamp but the inside of the frame is marked "D4" just behind the pawl. Excellent condition with normal cosmetic wear and no structural or functional issues. Someone has lightly scratched an "S" and an "M" on the backplate, with the "M" having been lightly scratched out (it's not gouged super deeply but is visible). Full length brass foot and the red agate in the lineguard is free of cracks. Single Erinoid handle that shows some alligatoring. Lever spool release. Simple single check inside and the drag is nice and smooth. The spool is nice and tight. No bag.
