For sale here is a Bernard Ramanauskas (Eden Cane / Freestone) bamboo rod - Model 794 - 7'9" 2/2 for a 4 weight line. The rod is in mint condition with the plastic still on the grip. This rod features a hollowed butt section and nodeless construction that Bernard is well known for. The rod casts with great power yet is capable of a delicate presentation. On the faster side of medium-fast action. Transparent silks with a fine burgundy line delicately running through the middle of each wrap. Beautifully tempered cane with shades from dark honey to blonde straw. On the butt is a tastefully sketched nymph in black ink. Blued hardware. Agate stripping guide. Cigar/western style grip. Simple cap and ring reel seat suits the rod well, beautiful burled wood spacer with a very attractive silky grain. Truncated ferrules size 12/64 with an excellent and tight fit. Weight - 3 3/8 oz. Original bag and tube.

- We ship at cost to the buyer and in the majority of cases do so via UPS with full insurance and signature. There are cheaper options but our experience has been that you get what you pay for and that it's not worth taking risks when shipping what are often one-of-a-kind items. Due to the importance of packing items carefully please allow up to two weeks for arrival (depending on how busy we are) though we certainly do our best to get items to you as expeditiously as possible.
