A nice Edward Vom Hofe Model 423 Restigouche salmon fly reel in 4/0 size. RHW. 3 7/8" diameter with a width of 1 11/16". This reel carries the '02 patent date on the oil cap. Moderate use overall with some pitting to the spool and one nick on the frame near one of the roller bars. The plate on the crank side has a repaired crack at the foot screws. The concentric on/off clicker is on the crank side, while the drag adjuster on the opposite side has the arch bar adjuster arm. Aluminum spool and foot with German silver bands and roller bars. The reel foot has been filed, and has no stampings of any sort. Mechanically sound with a strong click and drag throughout the range. No bag or pouch.

- We ship at cost to the buyer and in the majority of cases do so via UPS with full insurance and signature. There are cheaper options but our experience has been that you get what you pay for and that it's not worth taking risks when shipping what are often one-of-a-kind items. Your shipping estimate will be calculated at checkout and if you have any questions please contact us. Please note the buyers are responsible for any applicable import duties or fees that may levied. Due to the importance of packing items carefully please allow up to two weeks for arrival (depending on how busy we are) though we certainly do our best to get items to you as expeditiously as possible.

Return shipping is the responsibility of the buyer. If an item is returned, we will issue a refund within 10 days upon receipt.
