An excellent Edward Vom Hofe Restigouche 423 salmon reel in 6/0 size. 4 1/4" diameter with 1 3/4" spool width. RHW. This is the classic atlantic salmon reel in a great size for two-handed rods. Very good condition with no chips or cracks in the hard rubber. Nickel silver rims and rollers and an aluminum spool. Counterbalanced serpentine handle with the oil port built into the retaining screw. Poacher button, adjustable drag, with "Edward Vom Hofe, Maker, -NY-, Pat. July 14. 96" stamped into the oil plate. - We ship at cost to the buyer and in the majority of cases do so via UPS with full insurance and signature. There are cheaper options but our experience has been that you get what you pay for and that it's not worth taking risks when shipping what are often one-of-a-kind items. Due to the importance of packing items carefully please allow up to two weeks for arrival (depending on how busy we are) though we certainly do our best to get items to you as expeditiously as possible.
