An Edwards Quadrate bamboo fly rod, 9', 3-piece, 2-tips, and weighing 6.2 ounces. Feels like a #7 to me. #55-7621. Medium action. The varnish is excellent with signs of having been rubbed out at some point. Tip #1 is good and full length, #2 is 3/4" short and has a fracture that needs attention. There are a few minor varnish chips and a seam showing (not open though) on the #1 tip. As such I would rate this rod in "fair" condition and price it as a one tip rod. Flamed cane with red main wraps and black edges. Black edges fore and aft at the keeper, ferrules, and tip-tops. One carbide stripper on the butt and two on the mid. The remainder are high arch bronze snakes. Typical black squared front cork check and a 6 1/2" western style grip. Uplocking screwlock with a hidden pocket cap and walnut spacer. The spacer has a very matte finish. Tenite or hard rubber make up the bottom of the screwlock. Original bag with "Edwards Quadrate" logo. Aluminum tube with brass collar and top.
