For sale here is a Farlow's / Sharpe's Lee Wulff "Midge" -- 6'6" 2/1 4-5wt bamboo rod. Serial no. 427. The rod is in excellent original condition showing only slight light wear. Both sections are full length and straight.
The rod features impregnated cane with teal wraps. Bright, reverse-twist English-style guides. The script remains clean and bold. The varnish is in excellent shape free of any cracking, drying, or chipping. The petite cigar grip measures 4" in length with mild soiling. Dual aluminum sliding band reel seat over a cork spacer with an aluminum butt cap. The Swiss-style ferrules are size 11/64 with a perfect fit. The rod weighs a rather lean 2.35 oz. The action is medium-fast.
Includes the original bag with label and an aluminum tube.
