For sale here is a fiberglass fly rod from the bench of master reel maker Ted Godfrey - a 9'6" 9wt 4 pc. with detachable fighting butt. The rod is in excellent condition though it does show some wear from fishing use. Chocolate colored glass blank with black wraps and fine gold tipping. Bright guides with ceramic stripper. U-shaped hook keeper. The grip is a reverse Ritz shape. The cork is soiled and lightly ridged but free of gouges or other damage. Bright aluminum up-locking reel seat with a detachable cork fighting butt. All ferrules fit together tightly and securely. The rod weighs 6.40 oz. Fast action rod. An excellent rod for salmon, steelhead, or even redfish. Includes bag and aluminum tube.
