Goodwin Granger - Special Model 9050 Bamboo Rod

For sale here is a Goodwin Granger Special Model 9050 - 9' 3/2 for a 5-6 wt line. The rod is in excellent condition, though the wraps on the third guide up on the mid section have cracked slightly and will need attention at some point. It also appears that the male ferrules have been re-wrapped and one of the tips revarnished at some point. All sections are full length and straight. Lovely ammoniated cane. Granger green silks that make the "Special" grade so well known. Western-style grip has very light ridging. Patented nickel silver up-locking reel seat functions perfectly and there are a few very minor dents. Size 12/64 and 18/64 ferrules, the fit is excellent. The rod weighs 5.70 oz. The action is medium-fast, thanks to the swelled butt. Includes original bag and replacement tube.
