Handsome cinnamon colored sanded blank. Matching wraps with dark olive tipping. Lightly blued guides. Agate stripping guide. Unique full wells grip with a straight taper in the middle and flared edges. The plastic shrinkwrap is still in place. Elegant up-locking reel seat over a beautiful mortised burlwood spacer. The buttcap is cork with a layer of burl cork. The sleeve ferrules fit nice and tight as they should. Creme colored witness marks. The rod weighs 4.25 oz. The action is on the faster side of medium-fast - very smooth and swift with a wonderful balance of authority and finesse. The length of this rod adds to its versatility.
