The rod is in mint condition. Made of S-Glass and weighing 3.65 oz. The rod features very deep burgundy silks with gold tipping contrasted against the classic Steffen Bros. brick colored unsanded blank. Blued nickel silver guides and agate stripping guide. Creme colored witness marks for easy alignment. Modified full wells grip reminiscent of James Reid's evening gown grip. Blued nickel silver down-locking reel seat with a fine burl wood spacer. Spigot ferrules that transfer motion and energy more efficiently for a smoother cast. The action is a very smooth medium-fast dry-fly.
