For sale here is a Hardy "Riccardi" Palakona bamboo rod - staggered ferrule construction. Seven feet, two sections with one tip. The rod is completely original and in excellent plus condition. Both sections are full-length and straight. Striking yellow silks with black tips. Aluminum cap and slide band over an all-cork reel seat. The ferrule size is 17/64. Serial number F/K which dates the rod to January 1970. The rod weighs 3 1/2 oz. Fast action rod!

What makes this offering very special is that this rod was retailed directly by Mr. Riccardi in his little fly shop in Pavia, Italy and includes his label on the original red cloth bag, along with the original Garue aluminium tube. How many like this will you find again?!
