For sale here is a scarce Hardy Palakona "The Rogue River" bamboo rod. Ten feet, three sections with two tips marked for a seven weight line. The rod is completely original and in excellent condition. All sections are full-length and straight. Maroon silks with full intermediates. Up-locking aluminum reel seat over bakelite. There's a "1" stamped into both males and the female ferrule. Serial number H63388 made in 1965. Complete with ferrule plugs. Comes with its original Hardy bag and what appears to be a later replacement cordura Hardy tube.
