For sale here is a classic 3 1/8" Hardy Perfect fly reel with the 1905/1906 check. Majority of leading remains but as you can see, a prior owner at one time had a "moment", thinking he might scratch the finish off the winding plate. Caliper spring is nice and strong and the bridged tensioner works fine. Gear teeth remain sharp. Ivorine handle spins freely and is in great shape. Appears to be the original smooth brass foot, but it may have been slightly filed. Original spool retaining screw is a little buggered but is still easy to get in and out. No cracks whatsoever, just minor dings. No spool wobble. Matching "6" stamps throughout.

If you've always wanted a Hardy in this size, but can't pay collector prices, this may be the fishing reel for you!
