For sale here is a William A. Harms fiberglass rod - 7'2" 4wt 3pc. The blank was made by Mike McFarland as is a proprietary taper design exclusive to Mr. Harms' rods. The rod is in near mint+ condition having been lawn cast only. The blank is a handsome honey color with slightly darker honey colored wraps with pale red tipping. Salmon colored agate stripping guide. Oxidized guides. The spigot ferrules fit together nice and tight as they should with a 1/8" gap to allow for wear over time. Bright red witness marks. Classic cigar-style grip. Oxidized dual ring reel seat with fine knurling over a beautifully figured mortised wood spacer. There are a few tiny marks in the spacer from a reel foot. The rod weighs a lean 2.20 oz. The action is on the faster side of medium-fast. Swift and with some backbone though it also possesses the finesse and feel to fish small dries. Comes with original bag and labeled aluminum tube with fine brass fittings.
