For sale here is an extremely rare Paul Hermann Large Trout fly reel. One of ~20 ever made. ~10 were made in RHW and the other ~10 were made in LHW. This one is RHW and has never been used. Every single handmade part of this reel, even down to the 38 screws, screams quality.

The Hermann Large Trout utilizes the same double brake shoe drag as his salmon reels. 3 1/4" diameter and 7/8" inside spool width. Best suited for 6 or 7 wt lines and plenty of backing. This is a single action reel, the only non-multiplier Dr. Hermann ever made with his salmon drag. The side plates are made of delrin and the rings are highly polished aluminum. The reel weighs 8.70 oz.
