A nice HL Leonard Deluxe bamboo fly rod, 7'6", 2-piece, 2-tips, built for a #5 line. Serial number 4584. 3.6 ounces. Acrylic impregnated model which likely dates to the early 1980's. Very lightly used. Medium fast action. Blonde cane in a three up node pattern. Very light main wraps with green accents and darker green at the ferrules. 5 1/2" slim cigar grip. The reel seat is a butternut varnished spacer and unflatted with a nickel silver pocket cap which has the stamp "HLL, HL Leonard Rod Co, Makers" in a cartouche. Both tips need to be straightened. Tan rod bag and a late model brass collar and cap with a large roller die stamp "HL Leonard Rod Co, The Rod Maker, Since 1869".
