For sale here is a Gary Howells 7'6" 2/2 5wt bamboo rod. Serial number 3775. Excellent+ very lightly used and original condition. Carbide stripping guide, wrapped in brown thread with gold trim. Script remains clean and bold. E.C. Powell style full-wells grip with only the lightest of handling marks. Aluminum uplocking reel set over a beautifully figured walnut spacer. The ferrules are size 12/64 with a perfect fit. The rod weighs 3.70 oz. Terrific medium-fast dry fly action - smooth and precise with a great balance of authority to delicacy. It doesn't get much better. Includes original bag and labeled tube. Also included is a nice canvas tube cover.
