For sale here is a Lamson - Velocity 3.5 fly reel and spare spool. Made in the U.S.A. in the state of Idaho. The reel and spare spool are in excellent condition. There is a very small area of rim rash on the reel frame roughly 1/8" in diameter. There are also line I.D. stickers on the face of each spool, these could easily be removed. The reel is rated for an 8-9wt line, though a line weight on either side would be possible. Large arbor design for quick line retrieval. RHW or LHW, though currently set up for RHW. Quick-change spool design, it simply pops off with the correct pressure.The reel and spool are a nice anodized gunmetal color with a hard alox coating. The sealed, no maintenance drag is one of the best in the industry, with virtually zero start-up inertia. You can fish this reel in the finest of sand or in the salt with no problems. The drag is easily adjusted via an easy to grab knob on the face of the frame. The reel is loaded with Rio WindCutter Spey Tips WF6/7/8. The spool is loaded with WF9/10/11 and also comes with a neoprene line holder. Both lines are in like new condition. - We ship at cost to the buyer and in the majority of cases do so via UPS with full insurance and signature. There are cheaper options but our experience has been that you get what you pay for and that it's not worth taking risks when shipping what are often one-of-a-kind items.
