A nice Mario Wojnicki / Scott model 247F5 bamboo fly rod, 8', 2-piece, 2-tip, and built for a #5 line. Serial #1042. The rod weighs 3.6 ounces on my scale. Modest use, with a bit of hand soiling to the grip, brassing to the guides, and a casting crack to the female ferrule wraps. One tip also has a little bit of a set to it. The rod features blonde cane with small nodes. The wraps are transparent with a tiny black edge at the keeper and ferrules. The Swiss ferrules are truncated and oxidized. Carbide stripper and black snake guides. The grip is 6 1/4" long and turned to a full wells slightly weighted to the front. The seat sports a flatted Koa uplocking slide band with a hidden pocket cap. The small nickel silver slide band has a bit of tarnish. The tips are numbered. The rod comes in a black cloth bag and a Holland leather tube.

- We ship at cost to the buyer and in the majority of cases do so via UPS with full insurance and signature. There are cheaper options but our experience has been that you get what you pay for and that it's not worth taking risks when shipping what are often one-of-a-kind items. Due to the importance of packing items carefully please allow up to two weeks for arrival (depending on how busy we are) though we certainly do our best to get items to you as expeditiously as possible.

- Unless otherwise noted, all items come with a 3-day inspection period during which they can be returned to us for a full refund (provided that they are in the same condition in which they left our shop). Return shipping is the responsibility of the buyer. If an item is returned, we will issue a refund within 10 days upon receipt.
