For sale here is a masterpiece presentation rod by Ron McKinley, who made rods under the name "Macklin Customs". This rod is 7 feet with three sections and two tips, based on a Leonard taper and style. Excellent overall condition. Three-up node pattern. Includes a beautiful ruby insert for the stripping guide. The action of this rod I would rate as classic medium. Rod weighs 3.2 oz. Comes in a beautiful leather covered rod tube.

This rod along with other fine items for sale here comes from the family collection of the Cardells of Birmingham, MI. The Cardells were close friends with rodmaker Paul H. Young and his wife Martha, Catskill fly-tying legend Art Flick, and others.
