For sale here is a Payne Model 100 bamboo rod in excellent original condition. The rod weighs 3 1/8 oz with cap and ring reel seat over a Spanish cedar spacer. 7 1/2' 2/2, best with a DT4 in my opinion. The reel seat bears the “Payne” trademark stamp. Red agate stripping guide. The Model 100 is one of Payne’s most popular tapers, with a more medium action as compared to the slightly heavier Model 101 which was a faster action rod. All sections are full length and straight. The size 11/64 ferrule fit is perfect. Complete with original bag, labeled tube, and hang tag.
