Peerless 2A Fly Reel [SALE PENDING]

A nice little Peerless 2A fly reel, 3 1/2" diameter and set up for LHW. The reel appears to be unused. Clear anodized frame with black anodized sideplates. The maker and model name have been etched into the backplate which also features the drag adjuster. Somewhat unusually this Peerless boasts a wooden handle with two trim marks near the base instead of the usual delrin (the handle has a tiny bit of fill where the wood shows a small split - this appears to have been done by the manufacturer and is not a "repair". The handle is a little tight while turning but should loosen up with use or with a little oil added). It weighs 6.6 ounces on my scale. This model is designed for #5 or #6 weight lines. It packs into the original leather zip pouch with the Peerless logo embossed on the top and the original box with paperwork inside. A nice chance to get a classically-styled S-handle reel at a reasonable price.
