For sale here is a 9'6" E.C. PowellB-taper bamboo rod. Two sections with two tips. The rod is in excellent condition, the one issue being the female ferrule on the butt section has been rewrapped and the thread is a bit darker than the original thread. Also the first guide above the male ferrule on one tip section has been rewrapped. All sections are full length and straight. Lovely browntone cane with deep copper colored silks. Intermediate wraps throughout, one between the guides and seven between the grip and stripping guide. White and black grips at the hook keeper (standard for semi-hollow ECP rods). Blued guides. Caramel colored agate stripping guide. Signature E.C. Powell grip is only lightly soiled. Bright aluminum up-locking reel seat with bakelite spacer. Maker stamp on the reel seat. The seat is in excellent condition. The ferrules are bright, size 17/64. The fit is nice and tight as it should be. Witness marks indented into the ferrules. The action is medium-fast. The rod feels light in the hand considering the length, thanks to the semi-hollow construction.The rod weighs 5 1/4 oz. and feels best with a seven weight line. Original bag and tube.

- We ship at cost to the buyer and in the majority of cases do so via UPS with full insurance and signature. There are cheaper options but our experience has been that you get what you pay for and that it's not worth taking risks when shipping what are often one-of-a-kind items. Your shipping estimate will be calculated at checkout and if you have any questions please contact us. Please note the buyers are responsible for any applicable import duties or fees that may levied. Due to the importance of packing items carefully please allow up to two weeks for arrival (depending on how busy we are) though we certainly do our best to get items to you as expeditiously as possible.

- Unless otherwise noted, all items come with a 3-day inspection period during which they can be returned to us for a full refund (provided that they are in the same condition in which they left our shop). Return shipping is the responsibility of the buyer. If an item is returned, we will issue a refund within 10 days upon receipt. Refunds will be either administered by providing a check or, when possible, by canceling a credit card purchase.
