For sale here is a stunning bamboo rod built by Bernard Ramanauskas under the Scott Rod Co. - Model SC7105; 7'10" 2/2 for a 5wt line. Serial no. 1245. The rod is in near mint+ condition. All section are full length and straight. The rod is moderately tempered to a dark honey color with bright highlights at the nodes. Transparent wraps with a single wrap of burgundy thread down the middle of each wrap. Burgundy thread in a spiral pattern at the signature. The guides are lightly oxidized. Black witness dots. The tips are marked one and two for convenience. The mildly swelled butt flows into a darkly oxidized hexagonal winding check. Simple oxidized nickel silver cap and ring reel seat with a gorgeous, highly figured, mortised maple burl spacer. There is a slight blemish on the rim of the butt cap. The rod features a very nice, medium fast progressive action and weighs 3 1/2 oz. The ferrules are size 14/64 and the fit is perfect. Original embroidered Scott bag and labeled tube. Don't miss out on this Ramanauskas-made Scott rod as they don't come up on the secondary market very often!

- We ship at cost to the buyer and in the majority of cases do so via UPS with full insurance and signature. There are cheaper options but our experience has been that you get what you pay for and that it's not worth taking risks when shipping what are often one-of-a-kind items. Your shipping estimate will be calculated at checkout and if you have any questions please contact us. Please note the buyers are responsible for any applicable import duties or fees that may levied. Due to the importance of packing items carefully please allow up to two weeks for arrival (depending on how busy we are) though we certainly do our best to get items to you as expeditiously as possible.

- Unless otherwise noted, all items come with a 3-day inspection period during which they can be returned to us for a full refund (provided that they are in the same condition in which they left our shop). Return shipping is the responsibility of the buyer. If an item is returned, we will issue a refund within 10 days upon receipt.
