For sale here is a D.L. Robichaud #5 Traditional Trout fly reel with removable back cover. This spool removal method is very easy and a very nice feature with these reels. In the once crowded field of classic S-handle styled reels being made, I have to admit that these Robichauds are my absolute favorite choice, given their cost to quality ratio. This one is Model #5. Mint condition. Right hand retrieve only. Traditional fixed click/pawl. Made to hold a 5wt line plus backing. 3" diameter. Frame width is 1 5/16". Weighs 4 1/2 oz. Also comes with the original reel pouch with Robichaud's stamped impression.

There are cheaper options but our experience has been that you get what you pay for and that it's not worth taking risks when shipping what are often one-of-a-kind items.
