For sale here is a highly desirable Sage 508 Fly Reel. This reel was made exclusively for Sage by Hardy Bros. of England. This is the Sage equivalent of the Hardy St. George 3 3/4" and Sage had them add a palming rim! The reel is in near mint condition with some old grease inside that could use replacing. Left or right hand retrieve. Reversible single screw nickel silver line guide. Strong smooth drag with a loud outgoing click. Comes with its fine leather reel pouch with lambswool lining. An excellent reel for salmon or steelhead!

- We ship at cost to the buyer and in the majority of cases do so via UPS with full insurance and signature. There are cheaper options but our experience has been that you get what you pay for and that it's not worth taking risks when shipping what are often one-of-a-kind items. Due to the importance of packing items carefully please allow up to two weeks for arrival (depending on how busy we are) though we certainly do our best to get items to you as expeditiously as possible.
