Sage Z-Axis 5100-4 10' 5wt Fly Rod

For sale here is a Sage Z-Axis 5100-4 10' 5wt fly rod. The rod is in excellent+ condition with only very minor evidence of being handled. Forest green, sanded, graphite blank. Olive wraps, maroon, gold, and black tipping at the signature wrap and female ferrules. Bright guides. U-shaped hook keeper. Reverse half wells grip has some light soiling. Up-locking nickel silver reel seat with a fine wood spacer. There is a removable black rubber cap that fits over the butt cap. The ferrules fit together tightly and are sound, no cracks. The Z-AXIS rods were designed to be very light in the hand, fast and accurate up close as well as when reaching out. This would be the ultimate nymphing rod, though not limited to that. It would easily be at home throwing streamers or big dries. Actual weight on our digital scale is 3.80 oz. Includes original tan Sage bag and black aluminum tube.
