A very nice Saracione MKI fly reel, 2 3/4" diameter and set up for RHW (though can be switched to LHW). Near mint condition with some faint mounting marks on the foot and a few tiny spots of use on the frame edge, but is otherwise perfect. This was an early series of bench-made reels from Joe, with a light champagne anodized frame and black anodized sideplates. Handsome stainless cross-pillars. Nickel silver counterbalance on the handle and the washer cup is nickel silver as well. Unlike many of these reels this one comes in a handsome leather Arne Mason case with "Saracione" embossed on the top and one of Joe's original boxes (there is also an extra screw provided that's tucked into the bottom of the case). A fine example of a light, bench-made reel done in the classic style.
