For sale here is a stunning Don Schroeder 6'6" 4wt bamboo rod. Two sections with two tips. Serial no. 10995. The rod is in near mint condition. Beautiful darkly flamed cane with transparent chestnut wraps and double bands of black tipping. Oxidized hardware. Sculpted nickel silver winding check with ring hook keeper attached. Classic cigar grip. Payne-style cap and ring reel seat with a fine, lightly varnished, mortised wood spacer. Don's stamp appears on the butt cap. Oxidized, swiss-style ferrules size 10/64. The fit is perfect. Medium fast, a perfect dry-fly action. A terrific rod for tight overgrown conditions. The rod weighs 2.95 oz. Includes original bag with stiffening dowell and tube with brass fittings and label. Don't miss out on this wonderful small stream specialist.

- We ship at cost to the buyer and in the majority of cases do so via UPS with full insurance and signature. There are cheaper options but our experience has been that you get what you pay for and that it's not worth taking risks when shipping what are often one-of-a-kind items. Your shipping estimate will be calculated at checkout and if you have any questions please contact us. Please note the buyers are responsible for any applicable import duties or fees that may levied. Due to the importance of packing items carefully please allow up to two weeks for arrival (depending on how busy we are) though we certainly do our best to get items to you as expeditiously as possible.
