Scott Fiberglass Fly Rod (F2) - 7'2 3wt 4 piece

For sale here is a Scott F2 fiberglass rod. Model 723/4 -- 7'2" 4 piece rod for a 3 weight line. Serial no. 415479. The rod is in near mint condition, having only been lawn cast.

Pumpkin colored glass blank with translucent copper colored wraps. The winding check, signature wrap, and ferrules feature a spiral pattern in orange on top of the main wrap. There is a marked wrap at 12" mark to curtail stories of a larger fish. Bright guides. U-shaped hook keeper. Spigot ferrules for an efficient transfer of energy through the sections. The ferrule fit is perfect with a 3/8" gap to allow for wear over time. Black dot witness marks for easy alignment. Straight taper cigar style grip with a ring of varnished burl cork at the nose. Black aluminum cap and ring reel seat with a mortised cork spacer. "Scott" is engraved on the bottom of the butt cap.

These rods make precise accurate casts with just a few feet of line and the leader, and are great for underhand and bow and arrow casts. F2's load deeply under the pull of small fish, transmitting tons of feel. Includes original bag and tube.
