A Sharpes "The Aberdeen" two-handed spliced joint rod, 12' 3-piece, 2-tip built for a #8 line. Impregnated bamboo and built in a three-up node pattern construction. Sections appear straight and the spliced joints are in good shape with the standard swell at the joint. Has been fished but is in good used condition. Wrapped in reddish-brown color with chrome plated, english-style reverse twist guides. Full cork grip and reel seat style, with 14" foregrip and 5.5" bottom grip. Aluminum sliding ring and pocket cap screwed into cork. Bottom cap with rubber button and "68-178" stamped into the aluminum along with "JS Sharpe Ltd, Aberdeen". Comes with wooden ferrule protectors, original Sharpe's bag, and frost-coated rod tube with gold-anodized aluminum top.
