For sale here is a Sharpe's of Aberdeen Scottie "The Featherweight" impregnated 7'6" 2/1 5-6wt bamboo rod. The rod is in excellent original condition though it does show a bit of light wear form honest fishing. All sections are full length with a very minor set in the tip.
Maroon wraps and agate stripping guide. The decals and script remain clean and bold free of any defects. The full wells-style grip is 5 1/2" in length with only light soiling. Aluminum cap and ring reel seat over a mortised cork spacer. The stamped on the butt cap reads, "J.S. Sharpe LTD Aberdeen". The brass ferrules are size 15/64 with a great fit. Red witness marks for easy set-up. The rod weighs 4.25 oz. Stout medium-fast action for a 5 or 6 weight line.

- We ship at cost to the buyer and in the majority of cases do so via UPS with full insurance and signature. There are cheaper options but our experience has been that you get what you pay for and that it's not worth taking risks when shipping what are often one-of-a-kind items. Due to the importance of packing items carefully please allow up to two weeks for arrival (depending on how busy we are) though we certainly do our best to get items to you as expeditiously as possible.

- Unless otherwise noted, all items come with a 3-day inspection period during which they can be returned to us for a full refund (provided that they are in the same condition in which they left our shop). Return shipping is the responsibility of the buyer. If an item is returned, we will issue a refund within 10 days upon receipt.
