For sale here is a brand new rod built by Ted Simroe, legendary rod builder with the H.L. Leonard Rod Company in the 1960's and 1970's. Made in 2016. Plastic still on the grip. Model number 2603 --6 feet for a3 weight line. Two sections with two tips. Medium slow action. Serial number854. The rod weighs a mere 2.45 oz. Light straw-colored cane. Small cigargrip. Bright ferrules, guides and tip-tops. Bright finish nickel silver cap and ring reel seat over cork. Honey silk wraps with yellow edges. The ferrules are size 10/64 with an excellent fit.
