For sale here we have a Van Staal C-Vex 9/10S fly reel. Serial no. 1639. LHW or RHW, currently setup for left. The reel is in mint condition. The reel was original sold as part of the CVEX 9/12 package, the reel would have come with a 11/12 spool as well as the 9/10. This reel comes only with the 9/10 spool. Anodized aircraft-grade aluminum for use in the salt. Spool can be changed with the push of a button. The sealed drag system is removable, waterproof, modular and tooless, ensuring flawless performance on every cast. Van Staal reels are famous for their excellent performance in extreme environments. Regardless of surf, sand, and weather the reels continue to perform. The reel has a capacity of WF10 + 230 yds 30lb backing. Spool diameter 4.20". Spool width is 1.14". Arbor size 2.74". Reel weighs 9.6 oz. Comes with original Van Staal neoprene case. An excellent reel for surf or flats fishing.

- We ship at cost to the buyer and in the majority of cases do so via UPS with full insurance and signature. There are cheaper options but our experience has been that you get what you pay for and that it's not worth taking risks when shipping what are often one-of-a-kind items. Your shipping estimate will be calculated at checkout and if you have any questions please contact us. Please note the buyers are responsible for any applicable import duties or fees that may levied. Due to the importance of packing items carefully please allow up to two weeks for arrival (depending on how busy we are) though we certainly do our best to get items to you as expeditiously as possible.

- Unless otherwise noted, all items come with a 3-day inspection period during which they can be returned to us for a full refund (provided that they are in the same condition in which they left our shop). Return shipping is the responsibility of the buyer. If an item is returned, we will issue a refund within 10 days upon receipt. Refunds will be either administered by providing a check or, when possible, by canceling a credit card purchase.
