For sale here is a Julius Vom Hofe raised pillar fly reel in excellent original condition, made for H.L. Leonard. Aluminum frame and spool, German silver screws, handle arm, and foot, and hard rubber sideplates. 3 inch diameter, measured pillar to pillar. No cracks in the hard rubber. Crisp, clean click. The unmarked reel foot is full length and unmolested. The on/off click switch works fine. The Philbrook & Paine patent number is stamped clearly on the headplate along with H.L. Leonard.
