For sale here is a Julius Vom Hofe raised pillar salmon reel. German silver and hard rubber construction. 3 3/4" diameter (4 1/4" across pillars) and 1 3/4" spool width. Overall the reel is in very good condition cosmetically with no cracks to the hard rubber. Mechanically, the reel is in fine condition with a good click and smooth winding operation. The German silver reel foot is full-length and unmolested. Oversized handle grasp attached to the counter balanced handle. Attractive spiral cut drag adjuster knob mounted on the tail plate, as well as a spiral cut oil cap.The reel weighs 19.65 oz.
