For sale here is a very scarce Julius Vom Hofe Perforated Trout Reel from 1911-1914. Size 2. With a 2.7" diameter and 0.75" inner frame width, this scarce reel features perforated nickel silver rims, ebonite sideplates, and a full counter-balanced handle arm. The large hard rubber grasp is free from cracks or chips and spins freely upon its post. The sliding on/off click works perfectly. The mechanical operation of the reel remains true with a good click. The foot is full-length and unmodified. The screwheads show very little use. The ebonite sideplates are crack-free.

On the headplate, there are two very faint stampings:
