For sale here a fine rod from J.D. (Jeff) Wagner Signature Model. 8'3" 3/2 4wt. Excellent++ condition. Sparingly fished and well cared for.
The rod features handsomely flame tempered cane with transparent cinnamon wraps and fine black tipping. The ferrules are wrapped in black. Deeply blued guides. Agate stripper. Gently swelled butt with a ring hook keeper. Blued nickel silver checks. Garrison-style grip measuring 6 1/4" in length with only the mildest of handling wear. Nickel silver cap and ring reel seat over a beautifully figured mortised wood spacer. There is one very small abrasion on the rim of the butt cap. The step-down ferrules have a perfect fit and include the original ferrule plugs. The rod weighs in at 4.55 oz. Medium fast action. All sections are full length and straight.

- We ship at cost to the buyer and in the majority of cases do so via UPS with full insurance and signature. There are cheaper options but our experience has been that you get what you pay for and that it's not worth taking risks when shipping what are often one-of-a-kind items. Due to the importance of packing items carefully please allow up to two weeks for arrival (depending on how busy we are) though we certainly do our best to get items to you as expeditiously as possible.

- Unless otherwise noted, all items come with a 3-day inspection period during which they can be returned to us for a full refund (provided that they are in the same condition in which they left our shop). Return shipping is the responsibility of the buyer. If an item is returned, we will issue a refund within 10 days upon receipt.
