A Walt Carpenter Browntone bamboo fly rod, 7'3", 2-piece, 2-tip, and built for a #4 line. Serial #831073. The rod weighs 3.2 ounces. Used but not abused. Some soiling to the grip with faint cosmetic casting cracks at the ferrule wraps, brassing to the inner snake guides and some (15%) oxidation loss to the cap and ring. The rod is straight and the ferrule fit is excellent. Fast dry fly action. Mirrored tips. Flamed cane with light nodes done in a three up node pattern. Agate stripping guide and bronze snakes. The step ferrules are oxidized and retain 98% of the original oxidation. The main wraps are brown with black edges and extra bands of tan and dark red at the keeper and ferrules. The grip is 6" long and turned to a modified half wells at the customer's request. Cap and ring seat with hand flatted walnut spacer. The butt cap is stamped "WE Carpenter, Maker" in a cartouche. The rod comes with a tan cloth bag and a brass capped aluminum tube with Walt's data sticker.

Shipping Information
- We ship at cost to the buyer and in the majority of cases do so via UPS with full insurance and signature. There are cheaper options but our experience has been that you get what you pay for and that it's not worth taking risks when shipping what are often one-of-a-kind items. Your shipping estimate will be calculated at checkout and if you have any questions please contact us. Please note the buyers are responsible for any applicable import duties or fees that may levied. Due to the importance of packing items carefully please allow up to two weeks for arrival (depending on how busy we are) though we certainly do our best to get items to you as expeditiously as possible.

- Unless otherwise noted, all items come with a 3-day inspection period during which they can be returned to us for a full refund (provided that they are in the same condition in which they left our shop). Return shipping is the responsibility of the buyer. If an item is returned, we will issue a refund within 10 days upon receipt. Refunds will be either administered by providing a check or, when possible, by canceling a credit card purchase.
