For sale here is an original William Mills & Son "Fairy" Raised Pillar / Hard Rubber Fly Reel. Made by Julius Vom Hofe. Specifically made for use with the Leonard Baby Catskill fly rods, this 2 1/4" diameter (pillar to pillar) reel features an aluminum spool and nickel silver fittings. The tiny crank handle has a hard rubber grasp and the foot is full length and straight. The reel overall is in excellent+ condition, inside and outside. Stamped "William Mills & Son NY" on headplate. Comes with a quite tattered but original leather case.
