Nickel silver winding check. The full-wells grip measures 6 7/8" in length with only light handling marks. Black aluminum down-locking reel seat over a Delrin spacer and aluminum fighting butt. The spigot ferrules fit together perfectly with a 1/8" gap to allow for wear over time. The rod weighs 4.75 oz. The action is wonderful, a medium-fast by today's graphite standards. It retains the feel of fiberglass allowing for more accurate, efficient casts and livelier fights. A terrific steelhead, salmon, or flats species rod.
