For sale here is a Paul H. Young - "Para 15" 8' 5-6wt 2/2 bamboo rod. Serial no. 4726. The rod was made in May of 1978 by Todd Young. The rod is in excellent original condition. Characteristic PHY, mottle-flamed cane with chestnut colored wraps. Blued guides. Garrison-style hook keeper. Full wells grip is lightly soiled and exhibits slight ridging concentrated mostly within each of the wells. Cap and ring reel seat with a mortised cork spacer. The blued ferrules are size 15/64 and the fit is perfect. Parabolic, medium-fast dry-fly action. Both tips are of the same taper. The rod is best suited for a DT5 and is a pleasure to cast.
