For sale here is a Paul H. Young Perfectionist bamboo fly rod from the Bob Summers era at the PHY Rod Co. The rod is in excellent and all-original condition. 7 1/2 feet with two sections and two tips. Casts a five weight line brilliantly. All sections are full length, straight and have never been repaired. The varnish finish is flawless. Two guide wraps are slightly frayed. Dual black aluminum rings over all-cork reel seat. The rod weighs 2.9 oz. and the black aluminum ferrules are size 13/64. The rod comes with its original bag and tube.

There are cheaper options but our experience has been that you get what you pay for and that it's not worth taking risks when shipping what are often one-of-a-kind items.
