A Leonard model 37H bamboo fly rod, 6'6", 2-piece, 2-tip, and built for a #4 line. Serial #3027 which I believe puts this manufacture date around 1976. Weighs 3.4 on my scale. Modest use. Fast DF action. Varnished cane done in a three up node pattern. Brown main wraps with a band of tan and brown at the keeper and male ferrules. Ceramic stripper and chrome snake guides. The step ferrules are polished bright. The grip is 5" long and shaped to a western style with a hidden pocket cap. Polished aluminum uplocking screwlock with the roller die stamp "The Leonard Rod, HL Leonard Rod Co, Makers". The rod packs into a yellow poplin bag with a stiffener and an unbranded leather case with a bit of wear and tear.
