A nice Jenkins fly rod, 7'9", 2-piece, 2-tips, built for a #4 line. 3.9 ounces. GA79-18. Medium fast action. Looks like only one tip was lawn cast with a hint of a cosmetic ferrule wrap crack but nothing on the other tip. Blonde cane in a three up node pattern configuration. The main wraps are light yellow with brown at the ferrules. The stripper is an orange agate and the snake guides and tip tops are chrome. The finish is superb with a very light coat. The Swiss-style ferrules fit as new and are polished bright. The grip is 5 3/4" long and done in a blunt cigar profile. The slide band reel seat is a varnished mortised maple and the cap and ring hardware appear to be turned from aluminum. The rod bag is khaki colored poplin with a leather hang tag. The rod tube is a dark green crackle painted aluminum with a gold anodized aluminum collar and top. The tube has a Jenkins sticker "Jenkins, since 1960".
