For sale here is a Paul Young "Texan" taper bamboo rod made by John Pickard. Model 867 (made with pre-embargo cane). 8 1/2 feet, 2/2 for a 6 or 7 weight line. The rod weighs 4.95 oz. Ferrule size is 17/64. Medium fast (almost fast) cannon! The rod is in excellent +++ condition showing only extremely light use. All sections are full length and straight. Comes with original bag and tube. This is an outstanding dry fly rod for large trout, bass, summer run steelies, or even bonefish and snook -- Martha Marie Young caught many with her PHY Texan!

◄ Shipping Information: We ship at cost to the buyer and in the majority of cases do so via UPS with full insurance and signature. There are cheaper options but our experience has been that you get what you pay for and that it's not worth taking risks when shipping what are often one-of-a-kind items.
