A Mike Clark (South Creek Limited) bamboo fly rod, 7', 2-piece, 2-tip, and built for a #3 line. Serial #002. The rod weighs 3.8 ounces. Medium fast action. Mint condition with no brassing to the inner snake guides. Spiral node pattern with the bamboo stained to a medium brown and varnished. The main wraps are black with red edges and red windaways. Red agate or agateen stripping guide and black snake guides. Super Z style swiss ferrules that are oxidized gray. Both tips do need some straightening. The grip is 6" long and shaped to a large blunt cigar profile. The grip has a little bit of pitting from chisel turning. The reel seat appears to be some kind of bone (white) and the nickel silver cap and ring and rear cork check have a rope knurl and are oxidized gray. The rod bag is a blue cloth and the aluminum tube is black crackle painted with brass hardware.
