An Orvis Battenkill bamboo fly rod, 8'6", 2-piece, 3-tips, and built for a #6 or #7 line. Serial #26407. Used but very usable condition. The keeper wrap is missing, the lettering on the shaft is fairly illegible, and the grip has some soiling. But very ready to fish. Medium fast action. 4.9 ounces on my scale. There is a clear wrap on the third tip just below the top snake guide. The cane is a brown oven temper and impregnated, done in a three up pattern. The rod is fitted with black snake guides and tip tops. The grip is 6 1/2" long and turned to a slim cigar. The reel seat is a downlocking aluminum screwlock and pocket cap with a walnut insert. The cloth bag is green. The aluminum tube has a dent and the data sticker is only about 10% legible.
