A nice RL Winston San Francisco era fly rod, 7'6", 2-piece, 2-tip, which should cast a #5 or fast #4 nicely. Serial #9115. Medium action. Near mint condition, no ferrule wrap cracks, no hand soiling to the grip, only the faintest impression on the cork seat where the reel was held down. Owner's name inked on the rod at the factory. The rod straight and the ferrule fits are tight. Built in a 3-up node construction and the guides are wrapped in tan with maroon edges. Stainless guides and a keeper one flat right. The grip is a 5 1/2" long and done in a half wells profile. All cork mortised reel seat with an aluminum pocket cap and band. Delrin bottom cap with screw. Red coth bag with leather closing tab for the butt pocket and a Winston logo on it. The Cal Air tube has 100% of the Winston decal intact.
